Step-by-Step Guide
When you first login you will want to confirm that the top of the screen says your name. If it doesn't log out and log back in with your credentials
Confirm you are associated to the correct work queue, and if you aren't switch to the work queue you wish to work in under My Profile in the left menu
These filters will allow you to get to your items faster based on your workflow needs
- All Items will show counts for all sent and received items in your work queue which may be shared with your co-workers
- Assigned to Me will only display counts for items you sent, or were assigned to you after receipt
- Only Referrals will show you only items flagged as referrals when sent or on receipt
- Only Urgent will show you only items flagged as Urgent
- Only Records Request will show only items flagged as records request when sent or on receipt
Clicking the text Received Items Requiring Action will take you to the active work queue list and show you all active received items. You can also click on Received Queue from the left menu and get to the same place
Clicking the text Sent Items Requiring Action will take you to the active work queue list and show you all active sent items. You can also click on Sent Queue from the left menu and get to the same place
Quick Item Search will allow to search items sent, received, or both from the last month. You can search by the patient's name (if added to the work queue item), the Item# if you know it, or with File Text. File Text can be used to do an OCR/Text search of the sent or received items, for example if you know the patient's name is Lewis you could search by the work Lewis.
Find Item in the left menu will allow for a more advanced work queue item search
If you need to alter your user preferences you simply need to click on the words My Profile in the left menu to access those settings.
