Unwanted Secure Web Portal Sign Off

Created by Katie Bradley, Modified on Sun, Jun 2 at 6:33 AM by Katie Bradley

By default, and for security measures, the Centralis Health secure web portal will automatically log users out when:

  • One hour (60 minutes) of browser tab inactivity.

  • When a user exits the web browser.

However, if your workflow requires you to be logged into the secure web portal for longer periods of time you can circumvent this timeout by leveraging the Centralis Health Desktop.

To ensure that your session stays active in the secure web portal you will need to link your Centralis Health Desktop to your Windows Login.

The above will keep your session active in the secure web portal as long as your windows session is active, and you DO NOT exit your browser.

If you do exit the browser, you can reactivate session without entering login credentials directly from the Centralis Health Desktop using one of two options.

Option One: Right click on the Centralis Health Desktop icon in the active tray and select Open Web Portal

Option Two: Go to File in the top left of the Centralis Health Desktop and select Open Web Portal
