Processing a Failed Fax

Sometimes faxes fail, how you handle that failed fax makes all the difference! Follow these steps to ensure you fax communications make it to their final destination.

1. Log into the Centralis Health web portal and click on your failed faxes.

2. Click on the failed item you wish to process and take the following steps:

  1. Dial the receiving number on your desk or cell phone to ensure the number you are trying to fax to is a real fax number.
  2. If you get a disconnected message or it rings to a cell/landline phone, call the office you are trying to fax and get an updated fax number. Once you get the updated number, you can change it in the receiving field and then hit click re-fax to send the fax to the new number.
  3. If it rings as a fax-tone, click the re-fax button to attempt to send the fax again.

3. Do this until you have processed all of your failed faxes.
