Records Request Check Box - Outbound

Purpose: To track request for records you've sent


When to use: When you want to follow-up on records request to confirm records were received


When NOT to use: When you have no intentions of following up on the request for records




1. When sending a records request that you wish to track you will check the Records Request check box prior to sending from the Centralis Health Desktop or the New Item Page in the portal. 



2. After sending you fax will remain in a pending status in your Sent Items Requiring Action on the dashboard. 



3. You can then filter your sent queue by Only Records Request to see what needs to be re-requested or marked as Done/Make Inactive



4. Once you have received the records you requested you simply mark the item as Done/Make Inactive to remove from your active list. 



Optional Workflow Suggestion

If you are requesting records for an upcoming appointment, you can put the appointment in the tag line of the Centralis Health Desktop or the New Item page in the portal. 


You can then sort your sent queue by the tag line and work the requests in order of importance, or next upcoming appointment.
